The progressive lack of mobility in the shoulder (glenohumeral) joint causes frozen shoulder. A ball (the humeral head) and socket make up this joint (the glenoid). It is often one among the body's most movable joints. When the shoulder is frozen, the joint is locked and has restricted range of motion. Frozen shoulder is most frequently brought on by inflammation (swelling, discomfort, and irritation) of the tissues around the joint, despite the fact that numerous shoulder disorders can induce pain and mobility loss.
